Archeological Investigations

EDR conducts archeological surveys and site investigations to support environmental permitting as required by historic preservation laws such as Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Section 14.09 of the New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation Law, and the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). Our cultural resources staff meet the requirements of the Secretary of Interior’s Guidelines (per 36 CFR Part 61) in their respective fields, including Pre-Contact and Historic-Period archeology, architectural history, and historic preservation planning.
