Congratulations EDP Renewables on the recent completion of the Second Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (or SEIS2) for the Arkwright Summit Wind Farm! This renewable energy project includes 36 wind turbines and will contribute significant economic benefits to the Town of Arkwright, a rural community in western New York State. EDR prepared the SEIS2 and a supplement to the local Special Use Permit, which were accepted by the Town in early October. Following the recent Public Hearing for the project, EDR is now preparing a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) with the goal of completing the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) review for the project by the end of the year.
