EDR is excited to announce the completion and submittal of the Baron Winds Preliminary Scoping Statement (PSS) to the Department of Public Service (DPS) on August 10th, 2016. The Baron Winds Project is an anticipated 300 MW wind farm located in the Towns of Avoca, Cohocton, Dansville, Fremont, Howard, and Wayland in Steuben County, NY. The project will be situated primarily on farmland, and could include up to 120 turbines The PSS was prepared on behalf of EverPower Wind Holdings, and the filing of this document represents a significant milestone for our client. We are excited to be moving forward in the Article 10 permitting process. The PSS contains a description of the proposed Project and the studies or program of studies designed to evaluate potentially significant adverse environmental and health impacts, the results of which ultimately will be included in the Article 10 Application.
