Environmental Design & Research, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, & Environmental Services, D.P.C. (EDR) is seeking a versatile, team oriented Environmental Scientist to join our Pennsylvania engineering group. The qualified Environmental Scientist will have at least 10 years of experience in environmental review, impact analysis, and permitting with strong writing, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills. This position also requires applied experience with the regulatory requirements associated with preparing various permitting documents for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Requires a minimum BS/BA degree in environmental science, natural resources, biology, ecology, or related field. Preference will be given to candidates with water and wastewater treatment facility and permitting experience, and expertise in wildlife biology, natural resources, and/or wetland delineation and permitting. Potential candidates are encouraged to highlight experience with energy permitting (renewable generation and transmission) and/or an understanding of permitting processes in other states (e.g., New York).
