EDR Contributes Photographs to the New York Flora Atlas

EDR is proud to support the New York Flora Atlas.  The New York Flora Atlas is an invaluable resource for information about vascular plants that occur in New York State.  In addition to distribution maps, the Atlas provides information about habitat, taxonomy, native vs. non-native status, and synonymy for each plant species.  Photographs are also included for many species, where available.  EDR botanist Sara Stebbins recently submitted a collection of photographs to the New York Flora Atlas illustrating a variety of plants across the State.

Check out our images of prairie smoke (Geum triflorum) and salt marsh aster (Symphyotrichum subulatum var. subulatum), both listed as Threatened in New York State.  Or just explore the Atlas and see what other EDR images you can find!
