This weekend is the grand opening of the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center, which is the culmination of years of research, planning, and advocacy to celebrate the rich and inspiring history of the Underground Railroad and Abolitionist Movement in the City of Niagara Falls. EDR is very proud of our role preparing a Heritage Area Management Plan for this project. We congratulate the City of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Area Commission, and all of the consultants and volunteers who have contributed to this incredible public history project.
