Stormwater Permit Received for the Expansion of Ticonderoga Substation

EDR would like to congratulate our client, National Grid, for receiving their stormwater permit from the Lake George Park Commission for the expansion of its Ticonderoga Substation.   Staff from our Syracuse and Albany Offices worked together to develop a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the Substation, adhering to the stormwater rules and regulations of the Lake George Park Commission.  EDR successfully presented plans to utilize an EDR developed and NYSDEC approved porous paving cross section on site.   This method will allow National Grid to limit grading and reduce the amount of stormwater detention areas needed, while adequately distributing stormwater and avoiding potential run off in the Lake George Watershed.
