We are ecstatic to announce that Gordon Perkins has returned to EDR as a Senior Project Manager in our Syracuse, NY office. Gordon is one of the leading expert consultants in Visualization and Visual Impact Assessment in the Northeast and is well known to many of our clients and colleagues in the renewable energy industry. Gordon has extensive expertise in digital graphics and uses 2-D and 3-D software applications to create visual simulations and effectively communicate design concepts. At EDR, his responsibilities include the ongoing evaluation and improvement of our technical methodologies used in visual impact assessment, including new techniques in data collection, processing and analysis, and 3-D modeling. Gordon has also conducted research and fieldwork involving riparian restoration design and implementation. He returns to us from East Providence, Rhode Island, after working for the last 5 years at ESS Group, Inc. Gordon started his career with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at the State University of New York School of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF) in Syracuse as well as an Associate in Arts from Keystone College in Pennsylvania. We are very happy to have Gordon back on our team!
