EDR is seeking a versatile, team-oriented Environmental Monitor to join our Environmental group, willing to work on project-based assignments throughout Ohio. The qualified individual will have at least 2 years of experience in construction monitoring, agricultural monitoring, and/or SWPPP inspections. This position also requires applied experience with state and federal environmental regulatory requirements, and strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills. Monitoring experience associated with projects approved by the Ohio Power Siting Board is highly desirable and any experience with HDD boring, SPCC Plan implementation, invasive species identification, and relevant experience in other states should be highlighted in the applicant’s resume. Candidates are expected to be willing to travel due to the nature of the position. Requires a minimum BS/BA degree in environmental science, natural resources, biology, ecology, or related field.
