EDR, a dynamic engineering, design, and environmental services firm, is seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for a marketing professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a knack for proposal writing, and enjoys planning impactful events that elevate brand visibility.
You’ll play a central role in developing compelling proposals, coordinating firmwide events, and crafting marketing content across digital and traditional platforms. From opportunity pursuits to conference planning, you’ll help showcase the important work we do across landscape architecture, environmental services, planning, engineering, GIS, and cultural resources. This is a hybrid role in our Syracuse, NY office.
What You’ll Do:
- Create tailored proposals and marketing materials that win new business
- Plan and execute EDR’s participation in industry events and conferences
- Collaborate across disciplines and with external vendors
- Maintain consistency in EDR’s brand and voice
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in proposal marketing (AEC industry a plus)
- Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools
- Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
The anticipated base pay range of $65,000 – 75,000 is commensurate with experience. EDR reserves the right to pay outside of the target range based on an individual’s education, credentials, skill level and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity, geographic location, and business needs.
