Senior Wetland Ecologist/Permitting Specialist

EDR is seeking a versatile, team-oriented Senior Wetland Ecologist/Permitting Specialist to join our successful Environmental Practice Group. The well-qualified Senior Wetland Ecologist candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in wetland research and wetland-related fieldwork.  Responsibilities include the coordination of wetland-related studies, permit applications and mitigation plans with, and on behalf of, project managers including task delegation to co-workers as well as the QA/QC of delegated work, tracking of internal and external deliverables, and overall task organization. The position requires a minimum BS in Ecology, Biology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or similar field of study. Demonstrated competence in preparing technical studies and contributing to scientific reports and expertise in wetland ecology, wetland/stream delineation, and associated federal/state permitting is required. Preference will be given to candidates with current or recent consulting experience particularly in the renewable energy sector.
