Congratulations to EDR’s very own Dannielle Carr on being named New York State Nursery and Landscape Association, Inc. (NYSNLA) 2016 Certified Nursery & Landscape Professional (CNLP) of the year! The award recognizes an individual’s extraordinary commitment to the green industry, his or her family and community, and the betterment of others. The award was formally presented at the NYSNLA Court of Honor on opening day of the New York State Fair in August and was recently announced on NYSNLA’s website. Dannielle is the CNLP Chair for Region 4, serves on the state CNLP Committee and is a former member of the Region 4 Executive Board. In presenting the award, Beth Fry, NYSNLA’s state CNLP chair, spoke of Dannielle’s passion for horticulture and for educating others. “This passion is what her peers recognized when nominating her”.
