As permitting consultant on this 48-mile gas transmission, distribution and service lines project, EDR prepared and/or coordinated site-civil engineering including stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, SWPPP development, all ecological, wetland/stream, agricultural and cultural resource surveys necessary for the preparation of applications pursuant to Article VII of the New York Public Service Law and Section 404 for the Clean Water Act (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland and Stream disturbance permits). During project permitting, EDR also prepared all documentation associated with the review of the distribution lines pursuant to Section 68 of the Public Service Law and associated SEQRA Review. Following certification of the project, EDR prepared the Article VII EM&CP and SWPPP for the project. During project construction we provided full-time on-site environmental monitoring to assure compliance with the EM&CP and SWPPP.
Environmental monitoring work included weekly SWPPP inspections on both the transmission and distribution lines, preparation and distribution of weekly compliance reports, preparation of EM&CP minor change orders, preparation of wetland permit modifications, agency liaison, and other environmental support services.
