Flint Mine Solar Public Meeting

Flint Mine Solar recently held public meetings to introduce their proposed 100-megawatt solar energy project to the community in the Towns of Coxsackie and Athens (Greene County, NY).  The public meetings included an open house format and presentation by the development team and were well attended with over 100 engaged participants.  EDR is serving as the lead environmental permitting consultant for the review of the project under New York State’s Article 10 Power Plant Siting regulations and is conducting environmental studies for the project such as wetland delineations, wildlife surveys, archaeology, and visual impact assessment. The graphic materials and presentation prepared by EDR for the public meeting are available for review on the project’s website.
