Congratulations to Open Road Renewables for the recent approval of the Hillcrest Solar project! The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) recently authorized the construction of Hillcrest Solar I, a 125-megawatt solar project located on approximately 1,100 acres of farmland in Green Township, Hardin County. The project was one of the first of its kind reviewed by the OPSB. EDR is serving as the lead environmental consultant for this project, and our responsibilities for Hillcrest Solar include assistance with preparation of the Certificate Application and associated support studies such as a Visual Impact Assessment, cultural resources studies, socioeconomic report, and landscape design.
