Honoring the Hotel Syracuse

The Onondaga Historical Association presented its annual OHA Medal Award to developer Ed Riley in recognition of his remarkable transformation of the Hotel Syracuse – an iconic local landmark whose preservation and restoration are symbolic of the revitalization of downtown Syracuse.  EDR’s landscape architecture and cultural resources staff are working with Mr. Riley to design exterior courtyard spaces and streetscapes that are consistent with the historic restoration and grandeur of the hotel.  EDR congratulates Mr. Riley for receiving this distinguished recognition and thanks the OHA for providing this opportunity to preview the restored Persian Terrace. We are honored to be part of this transformative project and look forward to the grand opening!
