NYSDOT recently published the Preliminary Draft Design Report/Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the I-81 Viaduct Project. The replacement of I-81 through downtown Syracuse represents a transformative opportunity for regional planning and development. As both members of the local community and professionals who assisted with preparation of portions of the DEIS, EDR is excited for the continued public conversation about this important transportation project.
