EDR is excited to announce the completion of the North Ridge Wind Farm Preliminary Scoping Statement (PSS), which was submitted to the Department of Public Service (DPS) on May 4, 2017. The North Ridge Wind Farm is a proposed 100 megawatt (MW) wind farm located in the Towns of Hopkinton and Parishville, St. Lawrence County, NY. The project will be located on leased, private land and could include up to 40 wind turbines. The PSS was prepared on behalf of Atlantic Wind LLC, and the filing of this document represents a significant milestone for our client. We are excited to be moving forward in the Article 10 permitting process. The PSS contains a description of the proposed Project and the studies or program of studies designed to evaluate potentially significant impacts, the results of which ultimately will be included in the Article 10 Application.
